Been one of my favorite spots for over a decade!! The food is always on point and fresh. And they don't make the naan until you place your order. Comes out piping hot!! Love this place it's a staple for vegetarian Indian food.

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of the food here. The menu is always the same, and the food seems to be lacking in flavor. There is absolutely no spice in any of the dishes, and I don't know how anyone could possibly say this about Indian food... but I feel like they don't use enough salt .
That being said, the restaurant is clean and the employees are very friendly. My husband and his two best friends absolutely love it here, so we come at least once a month... mostly I think because it's cheap and fast. This is not someplace that I recommend to my friends when they ask for good Indian restaurants, but it's not offensive and works in a pinch. -

This is a vegetarian buffet restaurant where I use to come several times a year. However, the quality of food has gone down and today is my first visit in 2019. The price was $7.99 last year and it's at $8.99. They label the food in non English, so you have to ask or just guess. I saw a dish named Locky and asked what it is. First lady said she doesn't know, second lady said squash. Then first lady said potatoes. Hmm, so what is it? Food are oily, like very oily. I had a little bit of a few dishes like spinach paneer and chickpeas. Unsure what the rest are. They also have these two bright yellow dessert which are super sweet. I'm not a fan! However I like their rice pudding. They also give fresh naan for the buffet.
Interior has been updated but service can be improved. Won't be returning anymore! -

My go to chaat house in Houston! Being a Pakistani Houstonian, I've been to many, many chaat houses in Houston, but nothing compared to Bombay.
I've been coming to this family owned establishment since the 90s, and have always left satisfied. Located in the Indo-Pak area of Houston, and surrounded by other chaat restaurants, this place gives you that traditional "desi" vibe.
Be warned: lunch time, they are packed and the place does get crowded.
Our family personal favorites include: raj cachori chaat, samosa chaat and the masala dosa.
Raj cachori chaat- cold item with two massive puris filled with chick peas, yogurt, and other toppings.
Samosa chaat- hot dish which consist of the same things found in the Raj cachori chaat except that two massive puris are replaced with potato samosas.
Between two people we usually get those two items and share.
Never tried the buffet there and honestly wouldn't care for it. I am extremely satisfied with their chaat. -

The papdi chaat, samosa chaat and kachori chaat here are probably the best ones you can find in Houston! My friends also love masala dosa and chaana batoora.
It's my go-to place for whenever I'm in the mood for this type of food.
